For a month, an uninhabited island in the middle of the Pacific, more than 8,000 kilometers from Spain, will become your home. The group will be totally alone and isolated in what is apparently a paradise. ‘The Island’ may welcome them and provide them with everything they need, but it will also threaten them and mark their lives forever. They will travel without luggage: they will only have recording equipment, a medical kit, three jerrycans with water for a single day, three machetes and three knives. They will have to survive without food, without shelter and without water with the sole objective of facing the most hostile environment imaginable. Pedro García Aguado, former Olympic water polo player and coach, will narrate the day-to-day life of the group throughout eight programs. There will be no winners or losers, the only competition will be against themselves. The men do not know each other, they are not experts, they have not visited the place before and they do not have any tools. Each one will be the narrator of their adventure, recording their daily lives. Four of the members of the group are professional cameramen and will live in the same conditions as their companions.
