- They become the first apprentices of the talent show presented by Raquel Sánchez Silva
The country’s best-known faces are going to demonstrate their gift with a needle in ‘Maestros de la Costura Celebrity’, the celebrity version of the talent show produced by RTVE in collaboration with Shine Iberia. Extorero, actor and model Óscar Higares; singer Rosa López; model, actress and businesswoman Laura Sánchez; drag queen, designer and singer Carmen Farala and actor Canco Rodríguez are the first five names confirmed for the edition.
From now on, these five celebrities will put aside their successful careers to spend the hours among sewing machines, bobbins, thimbles and remnants. The three members of the jury, Lorenzo Caprile, María Escoté and Alejandro G. Palomo, will test the apprentices’ skills, talent and creativity when it comes to making patterns, designing new garments or transforming and customising others with all kinds of materials in the different challenges they will face.
As in the version with anonymous participants, ‘Maestros de la Costura Celebrity’, presented by Raquel Sánchez Silva, will have two tests in the workshop and one outdoors in which they will compete in teams. In addition, great guests related to the world of fashion will visit the workshop to show their vision of the sector, discover their secrets and evaluate the creations presented by the participants. The format’s usual commitment to sustainability, responsible consumption, the use of materials and diversity will also be present.
