Mediaset España and Shine Iberia (Banijay Iberia) will produce a new season of ‘100% Únicos’, the format in which prominent figures from the fields of culture, entertainment, sports and politics face the surprising questions of a group of people with various Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). In its new installments, which will be broadcast soon on Cuatro, actor and director Daniel Guzmán will take over as host of the talks.

In its first season, ‘100% Únicos’, which has the advice of the Confederación Autismo España and professionals from specialized associations, received critical acclaim and recognition from various institutions for its contribution to making the reality of people with autism more visible. Among the awards obtained are the Rose d’Or Latino for Best Docureality or Factual; the Amigo del Autismo Award, which it received last April at the Congress of Deputies; the AMIAB Award for Social Inclusion; the FAAM XXI de Oro Award; the Gesto Award for Initiative, Project or Practice; the COMUNICA Award granted by Autismo Jaén; and recently an award from the II Meetings FesTVal Lanzarote.

‘100% Únicos’ is based on the format ‘Les Rencontres du Papotin’, created by Eric Toledano and Oliver Nakache, originally produced by KIOSKO.TV and QUAD+TEN, and distributed by CAN’T STOP media.

Following the success of the format in France, with three seasons broadcast on France 2, the show has crossed borders and has been sold to some twenty countries, such as the United Kingdom, Australia, the Netherlands, Sweden, Australia, Denmark and Switzerland, among others. Some of the most famous faces that have passed through the format internationally are the President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron, the Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen, the Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Støre, the French actress Marion Cotillard, the British actor Michael Seen, the Belgian singer and composer Angèle and the Swedish writer Camilla Lackberg.
