Actress and presenter Patricia Montero will host the interior design talent show “DecoMasters”, produced by RTVE in collaboration with Shine Iberia (Banijay Iberia), responsible for hits such as “MasterChef” and “Maestros de la Costura”. The jury will be made up of multi-award-winning interior designer Lorenzo Castillo and journalist Marta Riopérez, who specialises in decoration. They will be responsible for challenging the creativity and skills of ten celebrity couples. With the help of a guest decorator in each round, they will judge the creations of the ten couples. In addition, drawing on their experience and expert insight, they will explain the main trends to the participants and rigorously analyse every detail of the work carried out throughout the competition.

Patricia Montero

Lorenzo Castillo
He is one of Spain’s most renowned interior decorators and designers. He holds a degree in Art History from the Complutense University of Madrid, specialising in Chinese and Japanese art. He then completed his training at the Escuela de Antigüedades in Madrid and at prestigious centres in England and the United States, focusing on decorative arts from the 18th to the 20th centuries, as well as decoration, jewellery, silver, porcelain and French, English and Italian furniture. He founded a successful art and antiques gallery in Madrid’s Las Letras neighbourhood, marking the beginning of a promising career with great international projection. This leap onto the international market came about when he was included in the rankings of the 100 best interior designers in the world by the magazines Elle Decor America and Architectural Digest America (AD). Shortly afterwards, he was recognised by the AD offices in France, Germany and Italy, and was awarded the prize for best Spanish decorator by AD Spain. Among his most emblematic works are the Loewe boutiques, the Costume Museum in Madrid, the Hotel Santo Mauro, the Hotel Alfonso XIII in Seville and the Grand Hotel Son Net in the Balearic Islands, considered one of the best hotels in the world..

Marta Riopérez
With a degree in Journalism from the Complutense University of Madrid and more than 30 years of experience, she has developed a solid career at the helm of interior design, landscaping, architecture and design magazines. She began her professional career at Spain’s leading fashion magazines, including Elle, Vogue, Telva and Marie Claire, among others. Today, Marta is Editor and Senior Advisor of Hearst Spain’s Deco Unit, which includes the brands ELLE Decoration Spain and Nuevo Estilo. In addition, Marta was previously the promoter of the launch and director of Casa y Campo magazine and has directed Casa Diez and Mi Casa, positioning each publication as a benchmark in its category. Her mission is to research, select and bring the best of design to the public, connecting global trends with local needs and actively supporting her industry. She maintains close ties with leading figures in interior design and design, and regularly attends major international fairs such as Maison&Objet (Paris), Salone del Mobile (Milan) and London Design Festival.
