Synopsis

Following the success of “Generación Porno”, the documentary series that explored how the pornography industry influences the sex lives of younger generations, and “Generación Click”, which uncovered the dangers, threats and challenges faced by young people on the internet, RTVE and EITB, in collaboration with Shine Iberia (Banijay Iberia), are producing “Generación Cannabis”, a two-part documentary series that focuses on one of the most silenced but devastating problems among young people: the real and profound consequences of the most widespread illegal drug in Spain. This new instalment will immerse us in a truth that is as painful as it is necessary: Generation Z’s addiction to cannabis. Through real stories told by young people who have lost control of their lives because of this substance, “Generación Cannabis” seeks to open the eyes of those who still do not see, or do not want to see, what is happening in their own homes and help them to escape from this situation.
