For two weeks, eight couples with relationship problems will swap partners to live with a complete stranger as if they were their real partner. They will share bathroom, bed, life, and intimacy in a neutral environment, without mobile phones or internet access. Psychiatrist Iñaki Vázquez and coach Covadonga Pérez Lozana, experts in couples therapy, will guide them in appreciating (or not) what they had and recognizing the mistakes made in their relationship. At the end of ‘Consensual Exchange,’ they will decide whether to reunite with their real partners to give it another try or to definitively end it. This format, produced by Atresmedia Televisión in collaboration with Shine Iberia, will mark a point of no return in their lives.
