In the previous season, ‘La Isla’ shook the fate of 14 men who ventured into this unprecedented adventure with all its violence. As a consequence, the group experienced two casualties and a serious accident. Now it’s the turn for women: 14 women return to challenge the island to prove to themselves that they are prepared to survive. Will they be able to achieve it? The new inhabitants of ‘La Isla’ are anonymous women who do not know each other, are not survival experts, have not visited the island before, and do not have a camera crew by their side; they will record the challenge of surviving themselves. They are not competing in a contest but against the island and, above all, against their fears. There are no winners or losers. They seek to surpass themselves, get to know themselves, and test themselves in the most enriching and dangerous experience they have ever faced.To survive, they only have the clothes they are wearing and basic tools. They will have to find shelter, water, and food. We will discover if all the comforts they have lived with have made them lose touch with their survival instincts or, on the contrary, if facing an extreme situation brings out the true essence of people.There is a false belief that physical strength is essential to survive, but the real battle happens in the brain. Unity is strength: only if the group stays united and works as a team will they overcome the challenge.
