The host Lorena Castell and the musician Juanito Makandé present ‘Vivan los bares,’ a docureality show aired by TVE that pays tribute to various venues that have become a part of their cities’ history.

This couple will visit different locations across our geography to explore entirely different bars, such as a beachside chiringuito on the Cadiz coast, a flamenco bar in Seville, a pintxos bar in San Sebastian, or a concert hall in Vallecas. ‘Vivan los bares’ will open the door to various types of bars and unveil their history through the experiences of their owners, the people who work behind the bar, and their long-time customers…

The show, which consists of eight episodes, will conclude with a tribute in which customers and neighbors will attempt to give back some of the affection that the owners and employees have provided.
