‘MasterChef’, the most successful tv show of the season, will have its kids starred versión on TVE this christmas: ‘MasterChef Junior’, a new family entertainment program in which kids aged 8-12 will test their cooking skills in a thrilling, fun and positive way, while they learn, improve and enjoy themselves. The casting process starts today in www.rtve.es/masterchef.
After the audience success of ‘MasterChef’, that closed it’s first season with more than 5.5 millions viewers and a 33,1% share, TVE and Shine Iberia will bank again boosting one of the most relevant aspects of spanish culture: gastronomy.
In ‘MasterChef Junior’, contestants – aged 8 to 12 years old – will be having fun while cooking and will learn more about food and healthy eating habits. For that purpose, they will have the help of the three MasterChef’s judges: Pepe Rodríguez, Jordi Cruz and Samantha Vallejo-Nágera.
The young chefs will be facing adult tests, preparing récipes and overcoming challenges that will show that age doesn’t matter in the kitchen.
‘MasterChef Junior’ begins today with the search for the future generation of spanish cooks, with the casting process that starts on www.rtve.es/masterchef, searching for big cooking talents among kids. The next phase of the casting will take place during the month of august and will travel to Barcelona, Bilbao, Valencia, Málaga and Madrid.
This new show arrives in Spain after great international succes. It has travelled already to fifteen countries, like United Kingdom, France, Australia, Isreal or Belgium with huge audience success and will soon be broadcasted in United States, India, Italy and Sweden.
The kids versión of ‘MasterChef’ will be one of the big releases of the next season in TVE, that will also produce with Shine Iberia the second edition of the show.
