Esther González is a journalist with a degree in Communication Sciences. Although she started her career in the news department of the COPE network, in 1995 she joined television with the emblematic program ‘Esta noche Cruzamos el Mississippi’ (Ondas Award and TP Award). In 1999, she became part of the Zeppelin TV team, which introduced ‘Big Brother’ (two TP Awards) to Spain, thus inaugurating a new genre unprecedented in our country. During the fourteen years she worked at Zeppelin TV, she participated in formats such as ‘Big Brother’ (up to the fourteenth edition), ‘Celebrity Big Brother,’ ‘Fame to Dance,’ ‘Supermodel,’ ‘Your House,’ ‘Blind Trust,’ ‘This Kitchen is Hell,’ ‘Class of 63’ and ‘Class of 73,’ ‘Nobody is Perfect,’ ‘House Arrest,’ ‘Come Dine with Me,’ ‘Guay Paut,’ ‘Identity’ (Zapping Award and TP Award), ‘Deal or No Deal,’ and many others. In 2013, she joined Shine Iberia as Casting Director. Since then, she has been responsible for casting the last eleven editions of ‘Masterchef’ (Ondas Award 2013 and 2020), ‘MasterChef Junior,’ ‘MasterChef Seniors,’ the six seasons of ‘Maestros de la Costura,’ the two editions of ‘La Isla,’ ‘Consensual Exchange,’ ‘Chefs on Wheels,’ ‘The Container,’ ‘The Escape,’ ‘The Institute,’ ‘This Hotel is Hell,’ ‘Maestros de la Reforma,’ ‘Yes, I Want That Dress,’ ‘Lego Masters,’ ‘In Search of the Sun,’ ‘Unique,’ the five versions of the talent show ‘Hair Style’ for five different countries, and many other formats.
