Rui has been working in the industry for more than 20 years and is currently in charge of Shine Iberia’s Portuguese office as a director since 2012. In the last 4 years, he has been a production director at Eyeworks-cuatrocabezas, where he developed and produced projects such as “Portugueseses Pelo Mundo” for RTP and “CQC – Caiga Quien Caiga” for TVI. As executive producer at Endemol, he was responsible for “Secret Story – Casa dos Segredos” and “Uma Canção Para Ti” for TVI, “Chamar a Musica” for SIC and “MasterChef” for RTP. Previously he worked as production director at PLURAL and TGSA, being responsible for the production of fictions such as “Jardins Proíbidos” and “Sonhos Traídos” for TVI and “Floribella” for SIC, among others.
