People with autism interview outstanding figures of our country: this is ‘100% Únicos’, a format that Mediaset España is preparing with Guillermo Fesser as moderator.

  • The conversations and surprising, exciting, brilliant, funny and full of sincerity moments that its protagonists will have with outstanding personalities from the world of culture, show business, sport and politics, among other fields, will be the focus of this adaptation of the internationally successful format ‘The A Talks’.
  • Antonio Banderas, Albert Rivera, Mercedes Milá, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, Antonio Orozco, Dabiz Muñoz, Carmen Maura, Javier Gutiérrez, Leo Harlem and Daniel Guzmán are some of the celebrities interviewed in the different instalments of the programme.

    Leading figures from the fields of culture, entertainment, sport and politics will face what will probably be the most special interviews of their careers conducted by a group of people with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in ‘100% Únicos’, an adaptation of the internationally successful format ‘The A Talks’ that Mediaset España has begun to produce in collaboration with Shine Iberia (Banijay Iberia).

The journalist, scriptwriter and legendary radio broadcaster Guillermo Fesser, who together with Juan Luis Cano runs the Gomaespuma Foundation, will be the link between the 100% Únicos reporters and the guest. Fesser will host this format for the preparation and development of which he is counting on the collaboration of Autismo España and the advice of support staff from different associations.

100% Únicos’ will feature the actor Antonio Banderas, the former president of Ciudadanos Albert Rivera, the presenter Mercedes Milá, the president of the Community of Madrid Isabel Díaz Ayuso, the singer Antonio Orozco, the chef Dabiz Muñoz, the actress Carmen Maura, the actor Javier Gutiérrez, the comedian Leo Harlem and the actor, screenwriter and film director Daniel Guzmán, among other guests. All of them will be subjected to the unfiltered questions posed to them by a group of people with autism, giving rise to surprising, unpredictable, exciting, brilliant, tender, funny and full of sincerity moments, sometimes leading their interviewees to reveal unknown aspects or facets of their personality.

100% Únicos’ will also serve to make visible the reality of people with autism, which fundamentally affects their capacity for communication and social interaction and their flexibility in thought and behaviour, and how it affects the day-to-day life of their environment.

Internationally successful format

100% Unique’ is based on the format ‘Les Rencontres du Papotin’, created by Eric Toledano and Oliver Nakache, originally produced by KIOSKO.TV and QUAD+TEN, and distributed by CAN’T STOP media. After its premiere in France (France 2), where it won the majority of the public’s support with interviews with different personalities, including the President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron, ‘The A Talks’ has crossed the French borders with its first edition recently premiered in Poland and will soon arrive in Denmark. The format is also in development in Sweden, Belgium, the Netherlands, Norway, Finland, Italy, Germany, Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Portugal and Ireland.
